Honda, a world leader in the manufacture of motorcycles proudly delivers you a motorcycle of exceptional quality. It is your most important responsibility to receive inspections and maintenance services and also to correctly use the motorcycle, not exceeding 60% of its total capability during running in period.
FOR THIS WARRANTY TO BE VALID.
- You must be registered in the client's file at Honda Vietnam authorized dealer
- Pre-delivery inspection must be done by authorized dealer and you must receive the appropriate instructions :
a. from the dealer mechanic, and b. from the dealer sales representative, and c. from the OWNER'S MANUAL
- Periodical inspection and maintenance services must be performed.
In order to valid this warranty, you must have your motorcycle receive 1st (1 month after the purchase date), 2nd (6 months after the purchase date) periodical inspection. Those inspections should be preferably done by the dealer who sold the motorcycle. However, in case of change of address and/or emergency, the nearest authorized dealer may perform the inspection and validate this warranty.
- When making any claim, the duly authorized warranty certificate (this booklet) must be submitted.
THE WARRANTY DOES NOT INCLUDE
- Oil, grease and battery charging.
- Natural wear of parts and accessories such as: battery, tire air cleaner element, spart plug, bulbs, gasoline filter, oil filter, break shoes, clutch disc, clutch plates, fuses, bushing, rubber parts, rubber hoses, duct seals.
- Rust or perforation caused by misure, exposed at chemicals, or salty atmosphere.
- Accessories and modifications that are not part of the original product.
- Damage originating from incorrect use of the motorcycle or as a consequence of any accident.
- Damage originating from use of the motorcycle for racing or similar conditions.
- Damage originating from use of non-genuine parts, oil.
- Damage originating from modifications made to the machine that alter its operation.
- Damage origination during inspections or repairs made by non-authorized dealers.
- Natural fading of paint, chromium plating, nickel plating and upholstery.
- Product wear and corrosion due to exposure to weather.
- Occurrence of phenomena that Honda deems not related to the motorcycle quality and operation such as noises, small vibrations, and traces of oil leakage.
- Commercial use of the vehicle, such as public transportation, etc...
- Additional expenses incurred for towing, communication, lodging, meals and other items due to breakdown of the product.
- Compensation for loss of time, commercial losses, or rental costs for a substitute product during the period of adjustment.
* The judgement for all above items are at the sole discretion of Honda Vietnam.
PERIODICAL INSPECTION AND MAINTENANCE SERVICES
Honda places much importance on these inspections, because they are factors that have definitive influence on the preservation and durability of the motorcycle. During the two first inspections, you are requested to pay only for the materials used (oil, battery acid and charging), and also repairs that are not included in the maintenance schedule (SEE THE OWNER'S MANUAL OF EACH MODEL).
The periodical Honda motorcycle maintenance services must be done according to the maintenance schedule listed in the owner's manual and the must be done by an authorized dealer for this warranty to be valid.
The periodical inspection services are determined by month.
The periodical inspection service must be done before the end of the time limit stated in maintenance service record.
Before a long ride, it is recommended that a special inspection (extra charge), in addition to the periodical inspection, be done at the workshop. Also, it is suggested that before riding the motorcycle you check the following points: horn, lights, turn signals, brakes, clutch, tires, mirrors, gasoline and oil level. Honda Vietnam Co., Ltd. reserves the right to modify the terms of this warranty, or its products, without incurring any responsibility to apply the said modification to previously sold units. |
